Pattern Description:

A very sweet and cuddly bunny with 3 outfits: a jacket and waistcoat for a well-dressed bunny, a cozy hoodie for a cuddly bunny, and a pinafore dress for a pretty girl bunny. A few hours of knitting for toy and clothes, plus assembly time, and you can finish a toy in a weekend. The toy and clothes are a great way to learn new knitting skills, as they are quick, forgiving of mistakes, and take a minimum of materials.

Gauge:

Bunny and Hoodie: 22 sts and 32 rows per 10 cm (4")
Jacket, Waistcoat, Dress: 26 sts and 34 rows per 10 cm (4")

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

toy is 9" tall, not including ears

Materials:

50 g worsted weight yarn (bunny)
15 g fingering weight yarn (jacket)
10 g fingering weight yarn (waistcoat)
25 g worsted weight yarn (hoodie)
15 g fingering weight yarn (dress)
4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles (bunny, hoodie)
3.25 mm (US size 3) knitting needles (other clothes)
stuffing

You Will Also Need:

2 small buttons (waistcoat)
pair of safety eyes
yarn to embroider face
tapestry or darning needle

Excellent guidelines. For a beginner though, some instructions for construction of the face and placement of legs/arms would be useful. I would recommend some prior experience with crocheted/knitted toys.

This is a great pattern. Well written and easy to follow. I did adapt it to be knit in the round on Magic Loop. Much easier than sewing up all the seams.
