Hi, my name is Deb, aka Debonair Designs. Welcome to my store, where you will find the perfect knitting pattern for your doll's needs. I specialize in hand knitting patterns designed to fit the popular 18" American Girl Dolls and the comparable 18" Gotz Dolls that share the same body type also designs for the slim 18” Kidz n Cats Dolls.
I use my own original patterns, all photos, text and instructions copyright Debonair Designs.

Urban, a textured ribbed stitch hooded jacket for dolls, inspired by today's fashion trends and the desire to create a unisex jacket for my 18" slim all vinyl dolls, Alister and Lena from the Kidz n Cats series.
The textured ribbed stitch pattern throughout has been written out with line-by-line instructions given, including buttonhole placement for girls and boys worked in seed stitch and full instructions for working the Lateral Braid featured at the bottom welt only along with a paneled hood worked in three sections; back with two side panels, then seamed.

Construction: Worked from the bottom up in one piece to armholes, including button bands, then each section is worked individually.
Advance Beginner-Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, and simple shaping and finishing.
A perfect addition to your doll's seasonal wardrobe, for exploring the great outdoors, providing extra warmth whether living on an island, along the coast, in the mountains, and great for play time too
