Basic Skills Necessary:

  • The knitting is done both flat and in the round, with the stitches knit, purl, yarn over, lifted increases, slip stitch over and knit 2 together.

Pattern Description:

Combine a life-long love of dinosaurs with the joy of knitting and patterns like these are inevitable!

The pattern has many pictures and easy to follow, row-for-row instructions on how to make a triceratops called Montezuma.


24 stitches and 28 rows = 10x10 cm or 4x4"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 18 cm / 7" long


  • double-pointed knitting needles (4 mm - US 5-6 - UK 8 recommended)
  • yarn suitable for your needles (green and a little bit of white and black)
  • stuffing
  • embroidery needle
