Pattern Description:

I've seen a lot of these buddy blankies, mostly they are bears and bunnies, thought this would make a nice change.

Its knitted with Aran/Worsted yarn, any medium is suitable but I used cotton and also a wool to make these two. Finished measurement of the blanket is 18 x 18 square inches/46 x 46 square cm's.

The patterns includes a step by step assembly guide, full of photos and helpful tips.

A lovely make for a special person in your life!

Materials:

  • 150 grams Aran/Worsted Yarn (approx. 270 yards) (A)
  • 50 grams Aran/Worsted Yarn (approx. 90 yards) (B)
  • 12mm safety eyes (optional)

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 pair of 5mm/8US Knitting Needles
  • 1 pair of 4mm/6US Knitting Needles
  • Yarn sewing needle
  • Toy stuffing/filler
  • Embroidery thread

Suggested yarn:

400 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Aran/worsted weight

I made this for an infant not yet on the scene. While not at all like me, I made it month's early! I love this little guy so much that he's still sitting on a kitchen counter stool back so I can enjoy him any day. The child will arrive soon, so ... I'll ship off this dude and make another. Excellent easy flower scarf  August 2, 2013


brilliant yarn no end to what you can use it for ,knit a plain cardigan and use yarn to edge sleeves and neck ect.
