This is a knitting pattern for our Many Flowered Cupcake. An original design by Knitting Revolution.
This is fun and practical to make as only minimal seaming is required: the main cupcake is knitted in one piece from the bottom upwards, with just one seam to sew. Three double pins are used from rows 7-12, to ease the tension from multiple increases (not knitted in the round).
Please note this pattern is for personal use or charity knits only. Please do not reproduce, copy or distribute without my permission.

My name is Louisa and I am a textile artist specialising in knitting. I sell my original knitting patterns in DK yarn. There are patterns for cakes, bags, toys and cloths, including my bestselling cupcake range. I always write with the ease of the knitter in mind, with minimal seaming and clear instructions.
I come from a creative family of spinners, weavers, carpenters and knitters. My mother taught me to knit when I was very young and I have never stopped. My mother and aunts were all wonderful knitters and crocheters and always gave me plenty of inspiration. My uncle used to design and build spinning and weaving equipment, in particular the Barnett Drum Carder which is still considered the gold standard in hand carding machines in the UK. Although now retired, he recently made me some giant double pins for my extreme knitting project. I am very happy to be carrying on the family handcrafting tradition using the tools that he has made.
