This is another of my quick knits. I love this pattern, as it gives the knitter lots of choices. You can use 4ply, or DK, depending what size of fish you want.
The pattern actually contains THREE different patterns.
First there is the Beaded Minnow. For this fish there are simple instructions on how to incorporate beads into your knitting.
Then there are two types of Bobble Minnow - you can use a single colour, or use two-colours to make your fish scales stand out.
Then what colour to knit the tail fin? And the top and bottom fins - which are optional.
A lot of different decisions to make, but I am sure you will have a lot of fun deciding, and will end of with a really unique little fish.
I have always liked making things, and although I have been knitting a lot recently, I also like sewing and other crafts.
I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school, and have partly got back into making things because my children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
