Gauge:

23 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Viking: 4" tall, 3" wide
  • Boat: 9" tall, 10. 5" long

Materials:

  • Dark Red Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Rooibos Heather; 1 skein
  • Cream Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Oyster Heather; 1 skein
  • Orange Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Pumpkin; 1 skein
  • Dark Brown Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Chocolate; 1 skein
  • Brown Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: Amber Heather; 1 skein
  • White Yarn: Knit Picks Wool of the Andes: White; 1 skein
  • Two sets of US Size 6/4 mm double pointed needles
  • Tapestry needle (for weaving in yarn ends)
  • Scissors
  • Needle and Thread
  • Poly Pellets (in a pinch, dry beans or lentils will work)
  • Old Stockings, or similar stretchy fabric to create a beanbag
  • 2 Buttons, black, 3/8" diameter (for eyes)
  • 2 Pieces of Dowel Rod, 1/4" diameter, one 8.25" long and one 5.25" long
  • 2 Pieces of Plastic Canvas, 10 1/8" long and 2 1/16" wide
