Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit in the round
  • simple increases and decreases
  • kitchener stitch
  • knit & purl

Pattern Description:

Judy the elephant is roaming the savanna with her friends. Occasionally she might stop to pick up a lovely flower for you :)
This cute elephant toy will make your kids and friends smile and is easy to knit in one day :)

This is an easy pattern which uses basic increases and decreases as well as knit in the round and kitchener stitch.
Body and trunk are knit in one piece with legs and ears knit separately and sewn on later or, if you prefer, you can pick up the stitches for those along the body and knit directly from there to save some sewing on later.
The gauge is not important for these patterns, but, as with all toys, you should use needles one size smaller than indicated on the yarn to prevent the fiberfill from showing.

A HUGE thank you to my wonderful test knitters Binle, Baba64, SiNessi, Sylie, txjewelrylady, stamp and roodkapje!!! You rock!
