Pattern Description:

I have called this little bear Inbetweenie Bear because he's bigger than my Pocket Bear but smaller than my Cuddly Bear. His legs and body is knitted as one piece, which makes him a quick knit and easy assembly.

There are instructions included to add optional contrast muzzle, foot paw pads and hands. If you would prefer a one yarn bear, please ignore instructions for yarn B.

Gauge:

There is no gauge for this bear. The thicker the yarn the bigger the bear. It is best to knit with needles one or two sizes smaller than the ball band advises to create a tight weave fabric.

3.5mm/4 US straight knitting needles
4mm/6 US straight knitting needles
75 grams (120 meters) eyelash/faux fur yarn (A)
25 grams (40 meters) Aran/worsted weight plain yarn (B - optional contrasts)
Yarn sewing needle
Oddments of worsted weight/aran stash for outfits

You Will Also Need:

Toy filler/stuffing
14mm safety eyes
18mm safety nose or small piece of felt to make your own, template attached.
Embroidery thread
Stitch markers/off cuts of yarn to use as markers

This is the third pattern I have used from this designer. The patterns are well written and easy to follow. The subtle shaping that is achieved is really remarkable. That said, the Inbetweenie Bear is my favorite . . . he is the perfect size. I love that his legs and body are knitted in one piece! I will definitely be making more using different yarns and colors.
