Meet my monster friends....they are never scary....always happy, smiley and having fun!
This listing is for the knitting pattern for you to make your own monster. You will need to know how to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, change colours (knit stripes), increase using KFB (knit front and back), and decrease by knitting two stitches together. The pattern includes row by row instructions so you don't forget your place.
You will need to sew the finished monster together, and step by step construction photos are included in the pattern. The legs, head and body are knitted in one piece to minimize the amount of seaming required.
All pieces are knitted flat on 3mm straight needles. To knit the monster you will need approximately 50g to 75g double knit yarn in yellow, 40g in green, 25g in white, a length of black yarn for embroidery, plus 100g toy stuffing. The finished monster is approximately 20cm high.
