Basic Skills Necessary:

You should know how to knit in rounds and be familiar with increases/decreases. You have to graft (kitchener stitch), the technique is described in the instructions. The instructions are illustrated with step-by-step photos to make it easy to follow.

Pattern Description:

The rhino hand puppet is designed to fit a childs hand, but it also fits smaller adult hands.
The rhino puppet is part of my "a puppet a week"-project.

Gauge:

22 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette

Gauge is not THAT important for this handpuppet. I recommend using yarn of the gauge above or thicker. If you use thinner yarn, the puppet might get to small.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

5inch x 4inch

Materials:

4 dpns size 3,5/4 (US 4-6)
1 tapestry needle
1 savety pin
small amount of filling for the horns (could be scrap fabric, too)
20g light grey yarn
1g white yarn
1 yard black
