I am an independent designer of knitted toys. I have been designing for about two years.
I love to design the unusual, fantasy creatures and long forgotten children's toys are also a favourite.
I have spent a lifetime of crafting, from painting and sketching through to running my own ceramic studio, I am never without a project of some kind or another on the go - and quite often more than a couple at a time :o)
Born a towny, I adopted the countryside 38 years ago and never looked back.
I am married to a wonderful man whom I have know since my childhood and have two grown sons that I am very proud of.
I get a lot of my inspiration from wild life and my love of anything mythical or magical.
I am a huge Harry Potter fan although I should know better at my age - but then I guess your a long time dead :o)
