I love daisies. They are such a simple, but pretty flower.
This pattern comes with instructions for two sizes of daisy. So you can either knit a small ordinary daisy, or a slightly larger ox-eye daisy. That is why I have called the pattern Daisy, Daisy.
There are also instructions on how to knit both size daisies either as a flat flower, which can be used for decoration, or if you would prefer to knit a stem and sepals you can stand your daisy in a vase. Please look at the back view, as I am rather proud of the realistic sepals.
I have included pictures of products decorated with daisies. This is just to give you a few ideas of what you could use your daisies for. These items are not included in the pattern, just the instructions on how to knit the daisies.
You only need a tiny amount of wool, so I have not included a yardage. All the knitting is done on 2 needles, and you will need double points for some of the techniques used.
I have always liked making things, and although I have been knitting a lot recently, I also like sewing and other crafts.
I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school, and have partly got back into making things because my children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
