Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit in the round, use dpns, seam knit pieces, increase, decrease

Pattern Description:

Briar is a sweet little bunny to knit up and love.

This pattern is knit in the round in separate pieces and seamed together at the end.

While matching gauge isn't terribly important, I suggest using a needle at least 2 sizes smaller than recommended for your yarn choice to give you a firmer fabric that will not allow the stuffing to escape.

Additional materials needed include 100% wool roving for stuffing. Wool stuffing has a very pleasant weight and warmth to it that cannot be replicated with polyester toy stuffing. Although you could substitute with the toy stuffing, the wool stuffing helps to make for a sturdier and cuddlier bunny.

Gauge:

24 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette

Materials:

  • wool stuffing/roving, small amount of yarn or embroidery floss for facial features

You Will Also Need:

  • 3.5mm dpns
  • tapestry needle

Preferred Brand/Yarn:
