Pattern Description:

This simple straight cardigan with basic shaping and without closure will fit any occasion. That's because one side of the front is designed to be free of any textured stitch pattern, giving you a canvas for your favorite embellishment - embroidery, iron-on applique, beads or buttons - feel free to improvise!
If you use several different colors (like working body and sleeves in different yarns, or using stripes on the sleeves), you can tie them all up in your embellishment....in other words, even if you knit several identical cardigans, each one will look fresh, new and unexpected!

Gauge:

Working gauge 6 sts x 8 rs = 1" (2.5 cm).over both stockinet stitch and moss stitch.
Adjust needle size if you need to get the correct gauge.
