When I retired, I felt like it was time to do a bit of 'give back' to the community, so I involve myself in a little voluntary work, and take great pleasure from knitting for charity......when I designed this pattern (which has been tested for accuracy), I thought that publishing it would perhaps help me to raise a little extra cash to donate to the local charity Caritas. I sell any toys I make if I can, and all the monies, apart from the cost of materials is given to this very worthwhile charity. I would be so delighted if you buy and enjoy this pattern as much as I have designing it and making it. Hopefully over time I will be able to add more patterns to my portfolio xxView all patterns by designer (11) »
I've already published two other puppies which have proved to be most successful, and two little simple charity sweaters. This third puppy is an addition to my menagerie, as each is individual,. and they are 'born' with different characters. These little cuties are loved by children and adults alike....My love of dogs, and a need to fill time when I retired has got me on the pathway to design....something I never thought myself capable of. All my patterns have been test knitted to ensure that they are easy to knit, with good success. They can of course be made in any colour eyelash yarn, it is really up to you.
Being a soft toy, gauge really is unimportant....and remember, this knitting hasn't got to fit anyone, so if you are the odd stitch or row out....it really isn't that important.
