Pattern Description:

Every young lady's precious American Girl doll or other 18 inch doll needs attractive outer wear in the cold weather. This 1920's style cloak and choice of two hats will look lovely on her!

The knitting uses basic knit and purl stitches and is mainly stockinette stitch. The cloak is knit in rows, and the hats are knitted in the round.

This is a wonderful way to use up stash yarn!


15 sts and 21 rows = 4 inches in stockinette st.


  • U.S. Size 8 16-inch circular needle
  • U.S. Size 8 double pointed needles
  • 175 yds worsted weight yarn
  • 25 yds worsted weight scrap yarn

Suggested yarn:

175 yards of Worsted weight
