I purchased two skeins of yarn, supposedly with the patter included. I did not get the pattern and have not had any answers after two emails.

These are really fun to make. I bought the pattern to make Christmas presents, but I would also like to sell some in my shop. At the bottom of the pattern, it says you would prefer that I didn't. I'm just confused as to why not, since I paid for the pattern. I would put in the description that it was designed by you. Do you feel like you would want a portion of the sales, because I would love to work something out with you. I haven't focused a lot on my Etsy shop, because I've been busy with a family wedding project, but I plan on getting back into the swing of things in January. Please email me at: irina.made@gmail.com so we can maybe work something out, or you can explain why you don't want people selling things made from the patterns we've purchased from you.

I have arrived at the point where I am working the WS Button hole row. However I am so confused as I am counting instructions for 19 different stitches when I only have 16 to work with. Please help anyone who may know the answer. Thank you!

Thank you for adding the video for the picot edge! I'm VERY much a novice knitter and the edge is where I made the mistakes on my first try. Love this pattern! I think this is going to become my go-to-Christmas gift for those who are hard to shop for!

Easy-peasy to make. Can't for the life of me figure out what would need to be updated. Also, how do you stop the picot edge from curling upward? Any suggestions.

I like the update notifications but it would be good to know just why it was updated. I will download the new for a mistake but not for an extra photo or something like that. I have made three of these so far and had no issue with the pattern.....
(I have a pattern from one designer that gets updated almost once a week! It is 27 pages long! I stopped downloading the 'new' version a couple of weeks ago. I think she keeps changing photos...)

I need some clarification on the Picot binding. I ended up with 15 points instead of the 8 shown in the pictures. I counted the 4 stitches to bind off as the 2 added with the Cable CO, the stitch moved from RN to LN and then one other stitch. Am I counting the stitches wrong? I also moved the last stitch from the 4 BO back to the LN each time and only repeated the instructions within the brackets. One of these is wrong. Which one?
Thanks,

I am not sure but I don't remember moving the last stitch back to the LN each time. I do have 8 points. I don't know that you are counting the stitches wrong but you seem to be doing something too many times. I notice there is a video tutorial mentioned you might want to look at that :) Personally I have learned a lot of new stitches watching those. (I usually mute them though lol)
I have made three of these with plans for more and had no problem with the pattern :)

The designer sent me a YouTube video, and my problem was in counting the bind off stitches. I was counting the stitches coming off the LN, and should have counted the new stitches going onto the RN. I am eager to do another. It knit up fast and looks very stylish.

Did you look in the "My Patterns" section on the left after you sign into your Craftsy account? I was a bit frustrated and almost threw away the slip that came with my yard without reading it, and that's where I knew how to find the pattern. Give Craftsy a chance. I have found it a delightful site, but the learning curve can be frustrating.

Hi Cindy,

I am perfectly happy to let Knitters make and sell the neck warmer for friends and family, even at a local craft fair. I appreciate that that is what many Crafters do with their pattern purchase and I respect that. I only ask that you credit me as the designer and that all sales are offline since I sell my own designs as ready-made items in an online market place.

I hope this helps!

How & where do you find/obtain the "crocheted version" they show a picture of, once you have downloaded the pattern.
I was also a bit disappointed to find this "kit" does not include the buttons needed to complete the project.

Well I eventually figured the picot edge out by trying several different things and then comparing it with the photo. Thank goodness there was only a short row to undo and start again. It is completed, just have to sew the buttons on. It looks very nice and is going to go to a very good friend as a Christmas present. Just disappointed that it had a small glitch at the end. Once you figure out the picot edge, it will be OK and you will be pleased with it too.

I notice on Ravelry that viewing this pattern, there is an updated verision but it doesn't say there is an updated version on Craftsy. It says on Ravelry if you purchased it before 1 Nov 2012, you can download the upate but I don't seem to be able to do that and don't want to pay for the pattern twice. As I purchased it on the Craftsy website, do you have the updated version? I am having trouble with the picot edge and wondered if the updated version would help me.
Thanks

the instructions are vague and I hope you can come up with illustrations for this pattern as in the illustrations for the crochet version. Meanwhile I am at a standstill as are some of my friends who are experienced knitters. Thank You
