Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit and purl

Pattern Description:

Cozy and warm, this one-piece, top-down jacket knits up in no time at all.

It has a loose fit, tapered armholes and a long rib collar with matching turned back cuffs on three-quarter length sleeves.

Sleeve cap shaping is worked with vertical decreases below shoulder.

There is a 3-stitch rolled edge from base of collar to hem.

Jacket may be closed with a pin or, if you prefer, a frog closure may be added just below the collar.

Perfect for indoor and outdoor wear, especially in Spring and Fall.


In St st, 5 sts and 7 St st rows = 2" (5cm).

  • XS, finished chest 33.5" (85cm)
  • S, finished chest 38.5" (98cm)
  • M, finished chest 40" (101.5cm)
  • L, finished chest 45" (114.5cm)
  • XL, finished chest 48" (122cm)
  • XXL, finished chest 56" (142cm)


  • Super bulky yarn, 650 yds (595m) - 1050 yds (960m)
  • Size 15 (10mm) circular needles
  • Size 15 (10mm) double-pointed needles
