Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic cables
  • increase, decrease
  • seam
  • buttonholes
  • pick up stitches

Pattern Description:

Lots and lots of cables, yet it's nothing more than the same cable done over and over again! Sweater Is knit in pieces then seamed. This oversized, bulky cardigan knits up quickly.

Pattern is 4 pages and includes schematics and cable charts

Gauge:

5.5 and 6 rows = 1" in cable pattern
22 sts and 24 rows = 10cm in cable pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 4 sizes, 6-9 mths (1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs, 3-4 yrs)
  • finished chest 21 (22.5, 24, 25.5)"
  • finished length 11 (12, 13, 14)"

Materials:

  • 350-500 yds of bulky weight superwash wool
  • US size 9 (5.5mm) needles
  • US size 10 (6.0mm) needles

You Will Also Need:

  • cable needle
  • 3/4" diameter buttons 5 (5, 6, 6) buttons

500 yards of Bulky weight
