Pattern Description:

I wanted to make a very simple Christmas Stocking, one that I could knit in just a couple of hours. There are many patterns online, but none quite fit my requirement for simplicity and so I wrote this myself, knitting as I went, and it was so very quick!
I am very happy with how it has turned out, and hope to be able to make enough by Christmas to fill with treats for my family and friends. I look forward to trying different coloured yarns, and perhaps embroidering some designs onto the sides of the plainer stockings.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

approx 16 cm, or just over 6 inches

Materials:

4mm knitting needles (UK8, US6)
8 ply yarn (double knit, sport weight) small amount
wool needle
scissors
