Pattern Description:

Celtic Squares is the biggest series of the patterns. Squares are very useful - you can repeat them and create the vertical or horizontal panels, you can use them as the afghan blocks, adding your preferred border. You can use them as the decorations of any garment.

Repeating vertically - you could knit the long and narrow scarf (adding the nice edge). Connecting vertical repeats with horizontal repeats - you can knit the beautiful wrap.

I organized my squares into the parts. Part II includes 50 designs.

In the file you'll find the additional charts for the repeats:
- vertical
- horizontal
- bidirectional

You can use them to cover the bigger area with the connected squares.

Gauge:

The dimensions of the ready square depend on the yarn used. So I decided to give the dimensions in rows and stitches: This way you can match the decoration to your actually knitted project.

Dimensions: 50 stitches x 72 rows

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • depends on the yarn used

  • any yarn and matching needles
