I love to knit - and crochet - and have designed knitting patterns for more than 40 years now...... As my partner is disabled I had to leave work and become a full time stay at home carer - this left me extra time to work on my knitting and crochet designs and for the last few years I have been introducing new patterns on a regular basis.
My first published book - 100 Tea Cosy Designs - is now available to buy from my craftsy store as a pdf. download and features a great range of tea cosies, phone covers, mug hugs, egg cosies etc. Everything from a Frozen theme Christmas Tree to my first ever cosy design, Ellie the Elephant.... all with simple row by row instructions -which is a feature of all my knitting and crochet patterns as I like to make them suitable even for those who have little or no experience.
As ive said I am a full time carer to my OH, a mum to 4 grown up children and Nanna to a rather large brood (see my profile photo lol) so no shortage of those to try out my patterns on.
Hope you will enjoy wandering through the designs in my store.
I adore flowers and gardening and sat looking at a little posy of flowers one day i just decided to knit a version and put on one of my lovely tea cosies - I know you will love it to - its a great seller in my store and easy to make as the pattern is all written row by row without any complicated jargon to follow. The cosy is knitted on standard needles so there is no knitting in the round - make up takes a little time as you have to sew up the flowers and attach to the cosy but its well worth the effort for a really stunning gift for a loved one - these patterns all fit a standard pot with instructions also provided for the small 2 cup pot and a larger kettle style 8 cup pot. All in double knitting weight yarns.
