  • knit, purl, increase, decrease, provisional cast on (instructions given in pattern)

Pattern Description:

A peanut shaped neck pillow to use at home, or for traveling.

Written for a medium sized pillow on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles in DK/8 ply yarn of your choice. Easily changed to a smaller or larger size by changing the yarn and needle size.

The pattern has lots of instructional photos and is quick and easy to make.
Information on how to do a provisional cast on is included.
This pattern uses 2 needles and is worked flat, in one piece, from the centre to the ends.

And if you are feeling quirky - add faces!


21 sts, 29 rows to 10 cm in stocking stitch on 3.5
mm (US 4) needles, using DK / 8 ply yarn or equivalent

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • medium size approx 32 cms long


  • Any DK/8 ply yarn - approx 50 gms for medium size pillow
  • a pair of 3.5 mm (US4) needles
  • a 4 mm approx size crochet hook
  • 4 stitch markers

You Will Also Need:

  • approx 50 gms dacron/polyester filling

Suggested yarn:

120 yards of DK weight
