I used Lily sugar and cream cotton... the info on that yarn is:

Yardage - 120 yards (110 meters)
Unit weight - 70 grams (2.47 ounces)
Gauge - 16.0 sts = 4 inches
Needle size - US 7 - 4.5 mm
Fibers - 100% Cotton
Texture - 4 single plies, S-plied, non-mercerized
Machine wash? - yes

It says one ball of yarn, how many yards/meters does that ball need to be?

row 47 is missing

the pattern is 2 pages so the split ends on row 46 and starts on row 48,
it does state at the beginning that "row 7: and all odd knit across" and row 47 is a odd row.
I am sorry for any confusion this has caused.
