Mikey's Receiving Blanket

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit and (crochet -shell st edge)

Pattern Description:

Was having a new grandbaby and needed to get a warm, wrap around blanket made quickly for the little guy! So I decided to knit a receiving blanket for him!!

This one is a basic knit stitch holding 2 strands of yarn together, finished with an easy crocheted shell edge. I just kind of made it up as I went along and it turned out GREAT!! So nice and stretchy to wrap him up all warm and snuggly.

This is the perfect gift for any new baby, or even for an older baby!

Make it in pinks and purples for a little girl.
