Looking for something to showcase your left over sockyarn bits? This creates a useful blanket plus a reminder of all the socks you knit for yourself and others! Create multiple rectangles or squares and seam them together for a monster afghan or just knit up a nice baby blanket or lap blanket. This technique and idea can be used on any size yarn & needles. Get creative!

Gauge:

NOT IMPORTANT!! Go with a fabric that gives you good feelings. I went up 2 sizes larger than I usually use to knit socks and this was perfect.

For me, I used size US 3 needles and have approx 6-8 stitches/inch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

from baby size to bedspread! Add to it as you go!

Materials:

sock yarn (fingering weight) scraps
size 3 US (3.25 mm) circular knitting needles OR size needed to get good fabric

darning needle for weaving ends
