Pattern Description:

Wherever you make your nest, be it South Dakota farm or Oakland hippie squat, you want it full of warm and homey things. Knitting pillowcases is awesome for two reasons: 1. Unlike sweaters, their usefulness is 100% independent of the weather, and 2. Unlike sweaters, you can show them off all day, every day.

"Hatikvah" means "peace" in Hebrew. I made this pillow in the calming colors of blue and white, but it would also look great in rust or olive green. The off-white color of the front panel is, of course, a tribute to traditional Aran fisherman sweaters.
