There are a few ways to enlarge this pattern to make a bigger blanket... you could double the yarn and upsize the needles, but that won't get too much larger. Your idea is probably the best option. It's easy with the charting in the pattern file to figure out how to add more blocks and still keep the same organization of colors/stitches. That's exactly what I would do... add 1 block to the top of the first strip and see if that gives you the length you want. If not, add another! =) I can't wait to see your blanket!

Thanks for the reply! I can't wait to finish it! I'm knitting it in Autumn colours and am using 12 ply, but the colours I wanted weren't all in the same brand. One of them (even though they're all 12 ply) knits 1 stitch less than the other brands. What would you recommend I do to keep all the squares lining up? Thanks!

Hi!
I'm hoping to use your pattern to make a bigger blanket. Would I just knit 4 or 5 squares each vertical strip and do one extra vertical strip on the side or something, alternating patterns to keep it randomised? Thanks! :)
