A soft, thick afghan worked in Domino knitting squares. You can work the afghan all in one color, or alternate squares of different colors or textures. It is an excellent design for variegated yarns such as Noro Kureyon.
Unlike the usual patchwork afghan, which is made of many squares knitted separately and then sewn together, the Domino knitting technique makes each square (except the bottom ones) on the foundation of another square, so there are no seams to sew!
~17 sts = 4", depending on yarn (need not be exact)
I have been knitting since I was six years old, and I love working with beautiful natural fibers, and creating patterns for items of timeless elegance.
