Basic Skills Necessary:

  • K = Knit
  • P = Purl

Pattern Description:

I love this pattern! Do you notice the diamonds in the center rows? It's absorbent, attractive, and will spend much time with you in the kitchen. I've designed this to be sturdy.

This pattern uses knit and purl stitches only. The only other thing you'll need to know is how to cast on, bind off, and weave in ends. This is an 8 row repeat pattern.

Gauge:

16 st - 24 rows = 4" (4 sts/inch)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approximately 8.5 x 8.5

Materials:

  • 1 skein cotton worsted weight
  • Size 6 straight needle
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry Needle to weave in ends
  • stitch markers

Suggested yarn:

50 yards of Worsted weight
