Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Basic skills needed for this design. k=knit p=purl inc= increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and then back of the same stitch k2tog= knit the next 2 stitches together st st = p 1 row, k 1 row. Makes 2 rows (for this pattern start with a p row each time)

This felt stocking will be sure to bring a smile on Christmas morning.

The small stocking is ideal as a gift bag or decoration. The larger size will hold lots of goodies for Christmas morning!

This stocking is easily knitted and has no complicated heel to turn. If you have never knitted a sock you can still knit this stocking! Then transform into felt by simply washing it!
