Basic Skills Necessary:

  • This pattern is good for the beginner knitter that knows how to work with double pointed needles. You should also know how to K2tog, P2tog, SSK, M1 and Kitchener stitch

Pattern Description:

I wanted to design a cable sock pattern that would be good for a beginning knitter.

This pattern, as with all of my sock patterns, includes the directions for the pattern to go down the heel and also the instep of the sock.


5 Stitches inch/2.5 cm

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's Medium


  • Worsted Weight Yarn approx 270 yds

You Will Also Need:

  • Double Pointed Needles to Obtain Gauge
  • Cable Needle
  • Yarn Needle
  • Row Counter
