Yesternight was designed for my son Griffin's fourth birthday. Griffin has grown up around handmade things, and whenever he finds something sewn, knitted, or otherwise crafty around the house he is sure to ask whether I or one of his many "Aunties" made it for him. He is a lucky child. Like all children his age, Griffin says things every day that I hope I will remember forever, but wistfully know I will not. He has called last night "Yesternight" for as long as I can remember, and we love it so much that neither my husband nor I ever correct him. The sweater is my way of remembering all our Yesternights in the years to come.
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginner cable knitters. Please see specific required skills below. Instructions are both written and charted, and a detailed schematic is included. The pattern has been professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.
