Pattern Description:

Fitted over the hips and surprisingly loose and comfortable in the bodice, (w)rapped has the versatility to be worn to work with pearls and a jacket or on the weekend over your favorite oversized shirt and jeans. Designed to expose the variations in hand-dyed yarns, adding richness and texture, (w)rapped is shown here knit in Madelinetosh's Tosh DK (clematis) which comes in a fabulous array of colors, is easy to care for and is extremely soft when washed.


CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is worked from the bottom-up in two pieces (front and back). The neck edging is worked after the garment is seamed.

Gauge:

24 stitches and 30 rows = 4 inches/ 10cm in 2X3 Rib and Banded Rib Stitch.

Materials:

  • Madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% superwash merino wool; 225 yarns/ 100 gm skein), shown in clematis; 4 (4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins or approx. 750 (800, 900, 1050, 1150, 1300, 1400, 1575, 1700) yards/[685 (730, 825, 960, 1,050, 1,190, 1,280, 1,440, 1550) meters]
  • U.S. #6 /4.0mm straight and 16-inch/ 40cm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge
