  • Knit, purl, knit in a round with double pointed needles

Pattern Description:

These baby winter slippers were first designed with my Alpaca yarn to keep my new great niece's feet warm. Later I made her a pink pair from Patons Baby Sport yarn to go with all her pink outfits. The knitted ties are perfect for keeping the slippers on as she enjoys kicking her feet. I hope you enjoy making them for your little ones.


10 stitches=1.3/4 inches (4.5 cm)
10 rows = 1 inch (2.5cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The slipper is 4 inches long, 2.5 inches wide and 3 inches high


  • 5-3.25mm double pointed needles

You Will Also Need:

  • 3.5 mm crochet (optional), 2 -2.50mm double pointed needles, sewing needlen

Suggested yarn:

1.76 ounces of Lace weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Patons Baby Sport or Alpaca lace weight yarn and Bernat Baby Pipsqueak for the trim
