Pattern Description:

Variation is a simple pullover, designed especially to showcase variegated yarns in an interesting and original way. Totally unisex, it would suit a girl as well as a boy. It is designed to be comfortably loose without being oversized, for a versatile garment little children will enjoy as much as the older kids.

Gauge:

20 sts and 28 rows = 4" in 1X4 ribbing with larger needles, blocked.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6m (12m, 2T, 4T, 6y, 8y, 10y)
  • Chest (finished garment): 20 (22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32)" intended with 11/2-2" positive ease

Materials:

  • 480 (530, 580, 650, 675, 750, 825) yds of worsted weight wool
  • US size 6 (4mm) circular 32 inches or longer
  • US size 8 (5mm) circular 32 inches or longer plus 1 for 3 needle bind off
  • Set of Dpns US size 6 (4mm) (optional)
  • Set of Dpns US size 8 (5mm) (optional)

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle
  • 1 st marker
  • Scrap yarn for holding sts
