A lovely jacket/cardigan pattern for your little one with a few interesting techniques to try out. This pattern is knit from the top down in the round in stripes, with a row of vikkel/lateral braiding to separate the stripes - don't worry if you have never tried this technique (which is surprisingly easy) as the pattern also includes links to a tutorial and video on this. The bottom of the cardigan has a slipped stitch pattern for added interest. Buttonhole loops are formed once the cardigan has been knit and instructions are given for making sew on buttonhole loops. A very unique pattern for your little one and with 6 sizes, the pattern can grow with your child.
20sts & 24 rows in st st = 10cm squared.
