Three Sisters is a fun and quick pattern that is worked top down in a completely seamless manner! Playful, lacy ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem and (optional) matching lace inserts add a romantic and figure-flattering twist to your favorite sweater.
Teamed with 3/4 length sleeves and a hip skimming length, this sweater is versatile enough to be made for any season. The slight waist shaping and bit of flare at the hips enhances any figure type. It is casual enough for your favorite jeans and dressy enough for slacks or a skirt. The model seen in photos is a medium size wearing a small size sweater, resulting in zero positive ease.
This sweater design pays tribute to The Three Sisters, a trio of mountain peaks in Central Oregon. The Sisters were named Faith, Hope, and Charity by early settlers, but these names have not prevailed, and instead they are known as North Sister, Middle Sister, and South Sister.
