Pattern Description:

I wanted Tangerine Trees to have simple, graceful lines, that fit the body perfectly. Dart shaping at the waist ensures a smooth fit and the lines are extended up into the neck to give almost a princess seam effect.

This garment is worked from the bottom-up, seamlessly, in the round. The underarms are grafted closed, though you could use a three needle bind off if you prefer.

Gauge:

20 stitches and 27 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch

Materials:

5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) skeins of Cascade 220 Sport (100% wool) - 164 yd / 150 m per 1 3/4 oz / 50 g in color # 7824
US 5 / 3.75 mm circular knitting needle, 24" / 60 cm or longer (at least a little shorter than your waist circumference)
US 5 / 3.75 mm needles of your preferred type for small circumference knitting in the round.
