Pattern Description:

This elegant herringbone pattern is well-suited for both men and women's socks. The firm fabric created by the herringbone motif is balanced by ribbing on either side of the leg which adds enough stretch for a great fit.

This is a classic design you'll never get tired of; you'll be knitting these socks over and over again in every color.

The pattern instructions are provided for three sizes, small, medium and large.


32 sts = 4 inches in stocking stitch; blocked

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Womens medium (large), with a 8" (10") circumference.


  • 350 yards (360) /320 m (329m) of fingering sock yarn similar in weight to 360yd/329m per 4.5oz/128g
  • US#1 2.25mm needles
