Pattern Description:

This little sweater is ideal for boys as well as girls. The saddle shoulders make for lots of room for active toddlers. The neck is not too close-fitting, making it easy to slip on and off, and even over a thinner sweater or t-shirt when play-day turns cool. Sinead is an Irish name, pronounced Shin-ade, and means "God is gracious."

16 sts + 24 rows = 4" in stocking stitch with larger needles.

Christina D. on

I have been knitting for decades - aran sweater, designer garments, baby and toddler clothes. My recent foray into pattern designing has been so rewarding, and such fun - I am now often seeking inspiration all around me! I also have a one-year-old grand-daughter for whom I love making unique garments.
