My popular wool diaper soaker pattern written for bulky weight wool. Great for overnight!
This pattern is for a knitted wool cloth diaper cover much like your grandma or great-grandma may have used!
Many people don't realize it, but because of its amazing combination of water-repellence, breathability and moisture absorbency, wool makes an outstanding cover for cloth diapers. "Soakers" are cozy & very cute alternatives to rubber or nylon pants.
To be effective, wool soakers need to be treated with lanolin, and brief instructions for this are included at the end of the pattern. Happy Knitting!
16 sts = 4" inches in stockinette stitch using larger needles

I am a devoted follower of Wendy Bernard, Barbara Walker, and all designers who follow the top-down seamless way. With all of the things I have to do in my life, who has time for sewing up seams?
