Pattern Description:

This jumper is named as a little village in the Madonie mountains here in Sicily. The village is located next to my town Castelbuono.
The jumper is a comfortable a bit heavy jumper - one knits with 2 strands of the cotton. The pattern is a rib 4/2 displaced on every row on the body and the sleeves are made in stocking sts. It is for everyday use - and the yarns keeps well in use and washing.
Included in the pattern is a leight-weighted version of the model. And from the web site you can purchase knitting kits.
The pattern to download is in 3 languages: English, Italian and Danish.
Yarn alternatives:
For the heavy weighted model: GARNSTUDIO drops Paris
2 strands together or 1 strand for the leight weighted model:
ROWAN Summer Tweed,
GARNSTUDIO Drops Safran,
SANDNES Mandarin Medi or
MONDIAL Cometa.

Gauge:

17 sts in stocking sts on needles no 4 1/2 = 10 cm ( 4 in)
or
22 sts in stocking sts on needles no 3 mm = 10 cm (4 in).
Both versions are in the pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • small medium large xlarge - chest: : 84 " 94 " 104 " 114 cm (in: 33 - 37 - 41 " 45)

Materials:

  • 400 - 700 g of cotton, needles no 4 12 mm

250 meters of Sport weight
