Pattern Description:

A sweet, loose knit for warmer weather, these bloomers are a quick gratification. Each leg is knit separately and then seamed. Colorwork is done using intarsia and is written for three colors; additional colors could easily be added. Appendix includes a diagram of the patchwork leg, though instructions are written line by line. Elastic is encased in waistband.

Gauge:

16 sts and 22 rows per 4 inches in stockinette using size 9 needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Size: 0-3 months(3-6 months, 6-12 months); Finished Waist: 19(20, 21) inches

Materials:

  • 70(75, 80) yards (MC), 70(75, 80) yards (CC1) and 21(23, 25) yards (CC2) worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Tools: Size 8 (5 mm) and size 9 (5.5mm) needles; Other: Elastic for waistband, 1" width
