  • Basic knitting skills (knit, purl, increases, decreases), how to do cables, cable cast on

Pattern Description:

Norah is a side to side yoked cardigan that will keep your interest while knitting up fairly quickly. The cables on the upper part of the sweater go side to side, but are vertical on the lower part of the sweater giving you an overall slimming effect. Norah would be a good sweater for any season in either wool or cotton.


5 sts = 1" and 6 rows = 1" in Stockinette Stitch on the larger needle

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished measurements:37 (39, 41, 43, 45, 47, 49, 51, 53, 55, 57)"


  • 675 (745, 775, 845, 955, 1025, 1055, 1075, 1200, 1265, 1300) yds of light worsted weight yarn,
  • #6 circular needle for ribbings, #7 32-40" circular needle for body,
  • 1 larger button or 3-7 smaller buttons
