Part cape, part shawl, part wrap...all cozy. Dress it up or down, out at night, around the house, or in the office for a stylish layer of warmth.
Hug Me is worked both both back and forth and in the round on a 29" #10 1/2 circular needle (or size to get gauge). Two pattern stitches -- a Reversible Rib and a Mock Cable Rib -- are used.
Both sizes require six 100 gram (128 yard) skeins of Cascade 128, a luscious bulky tweed -- the S/M will use approximately 5 1/2 skeins, the L/XL the full six.
The Mock Cable Rib is a four-row repeat created with a combination of slipped stitches and yarn overs -- no cable needle needed!
Hug Me is seamless, and there is no finishing required beyond weaving under ends.
The pattern is written with seven photos included on the last two pages (which need not be printed).
21 stitches = approximately 5 1/4" in Mock Cable Rib
