A maddy baby knitting pattern that is decidedly for baby girls, confirmed so by its silhouette of a frilly lower edge and a pretty sprinkling of embroidery.
The lower section of the dress is knit side to side. Stitches for the bodice are picked up on the straight edge of the lower section. The back and front bodice are knit alike.
The embroidery embellishment is a simple circle and star motif.
The knitting pattern, written in both US and metric measurements, includes a schematic drawing, and complete illustrated embroidery instructions with stitching guide.
