In this maddy laine cardigan pattern, slip stitch 'paths' zig and zag up the lower section of the cardigan and are bordered with lines of 'shrubbery' created by a mock cable pattern.
The top section of the body and lower section of the sleeves are awash in a knot flower motif. Single slip stitch lines zigzag up the sleeves to a set-in armhole.
The front bands are knit in a slip stitch rib to match the lower body and sleeve ribbing.
The knitting pattern, written in both US and metric measurements, includes charts and a glossary of knitting terms used.
