Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

This is a cute little poncho, just the right thing to throw over her shoulders when the sun goes down and the air starts cooling off. Worked from the top down, there are no seams to fuss with.


18 sts and 26 rows = 4 inches in St St on larger needle, worked in the round.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Sizes: 12m (2,4,6,8)
  • Finished measurements Width: approx 27.5 (30.25, 34, 38.5, 42.75) inches Length: approx 5.7 (6.25, 7, 8, 9) inches not including fringe


  • worsted weight yarn to give you desired gauge
  • I used: Berroco Comfort Worsted 210 yds/100 gms per skein; MC 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) skeins #9740 Seedling, CC 1 skein (all sizes) # 9723 Rosebud
  • US 5 16" circular needles or set of 5 dpn's; US 7 16" and 24" circular needles or size needed for proper gauge (24" circular is optional)
  • stitch marker, yarn needle
